When my kids were young they were watching Dumbo on TV while I worked. I kept hearing ‘ Elephants on Parade ’ and this artwork emerged as a result.
This is a dreamy elephant parade. It was inspired by the Disney movie Dumbo which has a scene in it with a lot of elephants marching by. While the kids were watching the movie, the music kept drifting in to where I was working, “Elephants On Parade,” “Elephants On Parade.” Possible this is a subtle form of brain washing, but to what end?
