Monday Wednesday Friday

I did this painting while I was at University and swimming on Monday Wednesday and Friday. To create this, I put a strip of masking tape across the full length mirror on my door, donned my swim suit and bathing cap, then bent over and proceeded to draw while standing first on one foot and then the other. I gave one of my friends quite a shock when she knocked on my door and I answered it dressed like that.

This is one of the few cases where I created a Painting and a Hand Pulled Serigraph of the same image, the serigraph is also called ‘Monday Wednesday Friday’ and it is the last serigraph in the ‘Earlier Serigraphs’ category.
